Tomato Care Continued, August bloom removal

Tomato Blooms
I know how hard it is to remove blooms from a productive plant, but it is a very important part of your tomato care here in the high desert.  The days are getting shorter and soon day and night-time temperatures will get cooler. It is now when your plant may have large, medium and small fruit set while it is still producing blooms. If you want more ripen fruit remove any blooms, this will send energy to ripening fruit. Continue removing new blooms as you see them.
I would also fertilize my plant for the last time, this keeps energy moving throughout the plant.

The blooms are now removed and the planted is thinned, gets light into the interior for the plant. Look at all those tomatoes, thanks Jen Fox for the great starter plants.
