Caring for Spring Blooming Bulbs

Now that your spring bulbs are finished blooming it is time to take care for them ensuring blooms next season. Think of it this way, this years leaf holds next years bloom. Rather than cutting the leaves off you can either leave them until they have turned brown, or tie them down and plant what ever you wish. Here are some photos of how I care for my daffodils and tulips once they are done blooming. By doing this I have enjoyed blooms for several seasons.
Here are photos of how I tied my daffodils down so I can plant herbs and color for the rest of the season. I use a fairly sturdy rubber band for the job.
