Record Keeping in the Garden

Keeping track of your gardening chores is very useful. I have always kept most of the tags of my perennials, shrubs and trees writing the date I planted them and filing them in my book. I also have a dry erase board in my garage where I document when I started feeding, watering, the weather and caring for my garden plants.

I encourage all gardeners to start keeping track of what is happening in the landscape. Keep your plant tags and receipts, just in case you need to them for your warranty, there are some great binders made just for us gardeners.
Hint, they make a great gift.
