It is  time when summer blooming shrubs and perennials have started to grow and set bud. Whether they bloom is dependent on sun and nutrients. When choosing a fertilizer for your blooming plants find an organic that is prepared for roses and flowers. You should see 3 numbers on the front of the package they are always, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. It is the phosphorus that plants need help produce blooms, so the center should be larger than the other two.
